A True Customer Service Horror Story

A couple months ago one of Jesse's friends moved into a new house.

Not long afterwards he received the previous owner's meat subscription from a company that our Fake General Counsel has asked me to identify only as rhyming with "Smusher Shmox".

Being a decent person, he reached out to Customer Service to let them know their customer had moved…… nothing.

Another month goes by, another box arrives.

So now he calls customer service…. nothing they can do.

And so on for several more months.

Now I get that Shmusher Shmox has no way of knowing that their customer moved. And they definitely don't know that the guy calling them is telling the truth and not trying to scam them into switching out a valid address.

But they can't even pause it?

Can't be bothered to give the original customer a ring and confirm that they have the right address?

They just run your card and send your beef to some other guy forever?

Seems like an interesting Customer Service policy for a subscription based company that knows its customers have lives and move and stuff……

I guess that's why we're absolutely eating their lunch.
