Is this really 100% grass-fed beef? 

You bet! Our cattle eat grass and only grass - fresh pasture during growing season (April-December) and quality hay in winter. No grain ever sneaks into their diet. And yes, we mean 100% of the time.

How does shipping work?

If you're in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic (NY, NJ, CT, MA, PA, RI, VT, NH, ME, MD, or DE) shipping is free on orders over $200. 

We also offer shipping to the following states for a reasonable fee : VA, NC, SC, GA, OH, MI, KY, IL, IN, WV, GA. Just add an item to your cart, and it will show you the correct shipping fee prior to checkout.

What if you don't ship to my area?

If you're west of the Mississippi or further south, we can't ship to you (those shipping rates are wild!). But we've got friends out west who raise beef just like we do. We'll happily point you to a great farm in your area.

What if I'm not home for delivery?

No worries! Your beef comes in an insulated box with plenty of ice. It'll stay frozen until you get home that day. We pack it properly so you don't have to stress about it.

Will all this beef fit in my freezer?

Here's a quick guide:

  • 1/8 Share: Needs 2 cubic ft (fits in most fridge freezers)
  • 1/4 Share: Needs 4 cubic ft
  • 1/2 Share: Needs 7 cubic ft
  • Whole Beef: Needs 14 cubic ft 

Pro tip: Going big? Order a half or whole beef and we'll throw in a free freezer sized just right for your order!

Are you really as environmentally conscious as you say?

We don't have certifications, but here's the deal: we only produce food that we eat ourselves and feed to our own families. No synthetic fertilizers, no chemicals, no pesticides - ever. That's a promise.

How do I get started?

Three easy ways:

  1. Order from our ready-to-ship selection (ships weekly)
  2. Reserve a beef share for the next season
  3. Go big with a half or whole cow (comes with a free freezer!) We take all major credit cards and handle everything online. Easy peasy.

How long will my beef last in the freezer?

Our vacuum-sealed beef stays perfect in your freezer for up to 12 months. The key is keeping it frozen solid – that's why we're so particular about our packaging and shipping.

Can I pick up my order instead?

Absolutely! If you're local to the Hudson Valley, you're welcome to pick up your order from the farm. Just select local pickup at checkout and we'll arrange a time that works.

What's different about your ground beef?

Unlike grocery store ground beef that might come from dozens of different animals, ours comes from a single source. It's 85/15 lean-to-fat ratio, perfect for everything from burgers to tacos, and stays nice and juicy when you cook it.

When do you process your beef?

We process beef throughout the year, but we work on a reservation system for our beef shares. That's why we ask for deposits – it helps us plan ahead and make sure everyone gets their beef when they need it.
