A couple weeks ago I decided I was going to become a morning person.

Devised an elaborate (patent-pending) system of alarms that wakes me up softly (and does NOT wake up the girls), but only leaves a couple minutes for me to get up and turn off the old school foghorn alarm across the room that will wake EVERYONE up and cause utter f***ing chaos to reign o’er my household.

And voila, morning person.

Well, not exactly......

But I AM now a person who is begrudgingly awake at 5:30 and gets a couple things done before my toddler and business begin to impose their own will upon me. And I’m happy to report that after a few weeks I actually “feel” like someone who gets up early.
