Before anything else, know that you're not the only one who clicked wanting the actual list. The most common question our farm gets, day after day, is some version of "what exactly comes in it?"
So here is exactly what comes in a whole cow from our farm: 400 pounds of 100% grass-fed, grass-finished, dry-aged beef (plus that freezer)
An 85/15 blend, about three pounds a week for a year. Tacos, pasta sauce, meatballs, burgers, the double batch of chili. The pile your family eats through without thinking about it.
Don't want the bones and organs that come with a whole animal? Swap them for extra ground beef or our Primal Blend. That's the only swap we do, and plenty of families take it.
More than seventy individual steaks:
Every steak is dry-aged: the meat hangs in a humidity-controlled cooler for weeks, moisture leaves, flavor concentrates. It sears instead of steaming.
The slow-cooker, Dutch-oven, Sunday-morning pile:
Steaks get the attention. These are the cuts that feed a family through a winter.
Obviously not everyone needs or wants 400lbs of Grass Fed Beef at once.... Here's how our smaller shares break out into each category...
Same cattle, same cut sheet, same dry-aging at every size. The freezer comes free with the Half and Whole.
$6,940 for about 400 pounds is about $17.35 a pound, all in. Not $17.35 for the ground and $48 for the ribeyes: one price across the whole animal, all sixteen ribeyes included.
Pay in full and it's 5% less ($6,593), which brings it under $16.50 a pound.
We are not the cheap option next to commodity beef at a regular supermarket, and we won't pretend otherwise. But compared to the 100% grass-fed beef our customers were actually buying before (premium grocers at $12 to $35+ a pound, $40-plus ribeyes at a good butcher), the bulk pricing saves a surprising amount of money
"Hands down one of the best investments I have ever made. Absolutely delicious mouth watering beeeef. ... The whole process was painless. No pressure no rush."
"Worth the wait and worth its weight in gold! This beef is phenomenal. As a clinical nutritionist, I'm very selective about where I purchase food for myself and for my family."
Figure a pound and a half feeds a family of four at dinner: about $26 for the center of the table, on taco night or ribeye night.
The question every family asks before reserving, so here are what our actual customers have to say....
"i was concerned if we would eat all this beef and how it would last in the freezer. No issues with freezer burn - they package the beef just right. Vacum sealed and the right sized portions."
"We finally took the leap and invested in a half cow for our family of five, and it has been one of the best decisions! ... We're already looking forward to investing in a whole cow next year!"
"I just had a London broil for breakfast. Last night, I had liver and onions. My kid is all about ground beef."
The honest sizing guide: a half cow feeds a beef-most-nights family of four for the better part of a year. Whole-cow families are usually big households, families who build most dinners around beef, or two families splitting one animal down the middle. The split is more common than you'd think: one order, one delivery, the neighbors take half the boxes, everybody gets the whole-animal price.
"Freezer is packed. ... Trying to convince my extended family to jump in on a whole cow."
If none of that sounds like your house, take the Half. Same beef, same free freezer (7 cubic foot), half the commitment.
"I am wondering WHAT HAVE WE BEEN EATING ALL THIS TIME?!"
"you can legitimately taste the difference."
"It honestly feels like we're eating steakhouse-quality meals right at home every time we cook!"
One review answers this section better than we can:
"YES, they do ship the free freezer! They coordinated shipping with us two weeks before our beef showed up. YES, the half share fits in the freezer with room to spare. YES, I found the farm through an Instagram ad and still bought the beef. YES, I have spoken with real people at this farm."
The details: reserve a Whole Share and we send a 16 cubic foot chest freezer, a $600 value, free, yours to keep. It ships ahead of the beef so it's cold and ready. The beef arrives in eight labeled boxes and fits with room to spare.
Half Shares get the same deal with a 7 cubic foot freezer.
We ship frozen to 32 states plus DC.
We don't ship from a warehouse, because there isn't one. We harvest a few cattle each week, in the order they were reserved. Reserving puts your animal in that queue: raised to spec, dry-aged for weeks, butchered, then shipped. At any given time our waitlist is about 2 to 3 months (right now we're reserving for November 2026).
Reserve with a $1,600 deposit (Whole) or $800 (Half). Your spot in the harvest queue is locked.
Balance is invoiced before delivery. Or pay in full up front and take 5% off ($6,593 for the Whole, saving $347).
The freezer ships ahead, then the beef.
"My freezer is busting full of incredibly delicious meat that will nourish me for a long time to come."
"I was truly so proud and made my husband look at it twice to admire it 🤣"
"so excited for the fall and excellent beef all winter!"
And the last word goes to the man who answered every concern in one review:
"It's ok to take the leap of faith, you'll thank your future self when it's delivered."★★★★★ Joseph Rojas · Google review RESERVE YOURS →

"How do you split a whole with another family?"
You order, everything arrives together, you divvy the labeled boxes at the kitchen table.
"Where does 400 pounds go?"
In the free 16 cubic foot freezer, with room to spare. Garage, basement, mudroom.
"How is it paid?"
Deposit locks your share, balance invoiced before delivery, or pay in full for 5% off.
"Do you ship to me?"
32 states plus DC, frozen, with the freezer ahead of the beef.
